Why I like working for Lady Bug’z: Working one on one with seniors is very fulfilling for me. Working as a care aide for lady Bug’z allows me to be where I love to be which is out in the community getting involved and helping people. A little about me: I’m an avid artist, knitter and movie buff! Community Service

The Ladybugz’ team is proud to support Food on the Corner by making and delivering 6 gallons of home made soup every month.

The purpose of Food on the Corner is to glorify God by making a contribution toward helping to fulfill the Great Commission in Vancouver. They are a multi-denominational Christian organization who demonstrate, in a practical way, the feeding of His sheep, both physically and spiritually.

As they celebrate 37 years of serving food to the needy, hungry and the homeless population of the Vancouver Downtown-East Side, they serve anywhere from 150-250 people every Saturday with delicious homemade soup, sandwiches, coffee and sweets. To all those that come to their tables, a warm and friendly staff of volunteers welcomes them. Many helpers have served with them faithfully for many years.
